BUSHNELL UNIVERSITY fosters WISDOM, FAITH, and SERVICE through excellent academic programs within a Christ-centered community. Bushnell University is committed to a holistic approach to education and life-long learning that engages not only the mind of the learner, but every aspect of life – body, spirit, and heart. Bushnell University fosters life-transformation through co-curricular learning, campus ministries, student development programs, service activities, and community experiences, including programs designed for non-traditional and adult students, as well as traditional undergraduate students.
At Bushnell University, they seek to highlight their Christian identity in ways that unite Christians everywhere, and not in ways that tend to cause division between various groups of Christians. In this spirit, they believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, and we proclaim him Lord and Savior of the world.
HCC has many Bushnell graduates and alumni within our congregation. Formerly Northwest Christian College and Northwest Christian University, Bushnell just recently celebrated it's 125th Anniversary serving the Lord through Higher Education opportunities. HCC has supported the school since it's inception. We are pleased that Bushnell's current President, Dr. Joseph Womack (Just "Joe" to us) attends HCC with his family. Our Lead Pastor, Clare Buhler, serves on Bushnell Board of Trustees. We have other HCC folks who work for Bushnell in various capacities: Awbrie Koons (Student Services), Tysen Buhler (Grounds), Zach Fuller (Resident Life), Gabe Buhler (Chapel Band/Music Ministry).
HCC supports the school with students, internship opportunities, monthly financial support, and opportunities for service and spiritual growth among it's students. You can learn more about Bushnell by going to their website: www.bushnell.edu
MID-VALLEY FELLOWSHIP is a Christian organization helping individuals obtain sexual and relational wholeness in the midst of a broken and confused world. They are a non-profit, interdenominational ministry, serving the Central Willamette Valley (Albany, Corvallis, Eugene, and Salem). They are not a mental health facility but instead their methodology utilizes personal testimonies, trained lay counseling, Biblical instruction, and Christ-centered accountability groups. They also exist to serve the Church and walk alongside local churches with resources of many kinds. Partnerships with local churches are essential in order to effectively serve those impacted by sexual brokenness. For individuals, Mid-Valley Fellowship offers support to those struggling with pornography/sexual/love addiction or unwanted same-sex desires, survivors of sexual abuse, and spouses impacted by sexual brokenness. This support is presented from a Christian worldview, emphasizing an individual's ability to choose growth and change. They offer a variety of support opportunities, designed to fit your unique situation. For more information contact an HCC Pastor, or go online to: https://www.midvalleyfellowship.org/

NORTHWEST CHRISTIAN NETWORK (Formerly OREGON CHRISTIAN CONVENTION CENTER) is a place, an event and an idea! The place is on 19 acres in Turner, Oregon. The event is the annual week of the now “Northwest Christian Network Convention” , formerly the "Oregon Christian Convention". The idea is to connect churches on common ground for the building up of the Body of Christ. In 1885 the Turner family donated the property that hosted the annual camp meeting known as the Oregon Christian Convention. The Tabernacle, which was built in 1891, continues to house the annual Convention event and many other activities.
The Convention has been connecting the church in the Northwest for over 160 years. The center offers conferences, retreats, and seminars throughout the year. These events target areas of ministry in the church to equip the church as it ministers in the local community. The grounds and facilities are available to rent for camps, retreats, family gatherings, and other activities.

TURNER RETIREMENT HOMES is located in the heart of Turner, just Southeast of Salem, Oregon. TRH was founded in 1933 when Cornelia Turner Davis donated land and funds to establish Turner Memorial Home. It was created to provide benevolent housing for retired ministers and missionaries, who dedicated their lives to share and teach the Word of God. Since 1933 they have evolved and grown, but we still retain the mission of our essential purpose - to provide affordable housing to Christians in need.
TRH is happy to be able to provide both options of independent living in their community as well as assisted living in TRH's Residential Care Facility. They are open now to anyone who wants to live in a place where their spiritual, physical, and some essential needs can be met. HCC has had several former Pastors and Pastor's wives who have lived at TRH over the many
years. HCC supports Turner Retirement Homes with a monthly financial gift and prayer support. If you are interested in TRH go to their website: www.trhomes.org
